Just 45 years ago (1967), the dictatorship of Spain signed the Law of Religious Liberty, thus opening the doors for American missionaries to bring the good news of salvation to this dark land...
Today, although the doors are open, hearts continue to be closed.
Spain is the least evangelized Spanish-speaking country with 8,000 cities and towns that have no gospel presence. Our desire is to plant indigenous Spanish churches that will in turn produce other self-sustaining, independent Baptist churches through evangelism and the development of national leadership. The local church ministry will be expanded through intensive Bible institutes, church fellowships, youth retreats, and camp ministry at the Aierdi farmhouse.
September 18, 2016 - It is with gratitude that I reflect on how our God is working here in Spain and the redemptive relationships that He is sending us. I looked recently at Jennifer's communication with people in WhatsApp [texting app], and she is interacting and spending time with as many unbelievers as believers! This is a visual way for us to see that God is opening doors of connection for us in our community. The gift of these friendships is a demonstration of His work in their hearts. Your prayers and partnership strengthen us for these doors of Gospel opportunity.
2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
